The Solar warlord gives his opponent no time to recover from the onslaught of attacks he is receiving. Even attacks that take place moments after the first strikes come from the perfect angle, and make the most use of the attacks already made. By spending 2 motes the Solar can extend the window of a coordinated attack by 1 tick. He can do this any number of times, but the window cannot extend beyond the tick where the opponent next refreshes his DV. The difficulty of the roll is still the same as a normal coordinate attack, where allies on all ticks are counted as participants in the effort. An ally can be coordinated more than once to take advantage of superior speed, but an ally cannot use the benefit of the coordination on 2 separate ticks if this is not accounted for.

The coordination penalty on any given tick does not extend the number of participants who have attacked the opponent up until that very moment. So if 2 allies attack in the first tick, and 1 in the second, then the first two combatants impose a -2 coordinated attack penalty at most, but the third assailant benefits from the full -3 bonus.
