Prerequisite Charms: Ebon Shadow Form
Many opponents of the Ebon Shadow have underestimated the dodging speed of the Ebon Shadow Martial Artist, only to realize that all they are attacking is but an afterimage left. After using her Dodge DV to defend against an attack , the Ebon Shadow Stylist can make a jump up to her Martial Arts in yards (horizontaly or verticaly). If this leap moves the Ebon Shadow Martial Artist either out of line of sight of their opponent or into a shadow the Ebon Shadow Stylist is allowed to make a re-establish surprise roll against her opponnent. If succesfull, other attacks in the flurry automaticly fail, because her opponent doesn't know where to strike. This Charm is treated as a counterattack, even though the jump is not hostile. Also it cannot be used combiened with another counterattack.
We decided to change this charm because the original version was poorly thought of with the new DV system and the Dice Caps (it was practicly useless in combination with the Form-Charm). This is a whole new Charm, which is meant to be a different sort of Leaping Dodge (lower distance, higher mote cost, re-establish surprise extra). The concept is basicly already approved, the final details (wording, requirements, costs) haven't been finalized. Glod Glodsson
